BBQs & Garden Parties.
Since its humble beginnings the annual DADS Garden Party (usually comprising of a BBQ and salad bar etc.) has been a popular event in the society. Instigated by DADS President Paddy Firmston-Williams in 1994 and subsequently Hosted by Paddy & Di for many years, the occassion has grown along with the current incarnation of DADS. These days we are lucky enough  to still have members in the village with space enough to accomodate us.

We were pleased and surprised at the response to our piece in the Surrey Ad publicising the event. Many members from DADS' of days gone by arrived and enjoyed reliving the 'old times'. We also received many tributes from ex-DADS well wishers from all over the country.
