After many appearances as a singer, dancer and actress in Croydon Amateur Dramatic Society productions, Jo joined DADS in 2005, immediately appearing as Dorothy in Murdered to Death. Swiftly followed by a role as the wardrobe mistress in DADS 2005 Murder, Mystery evening. Jo turned her hand to directing for the 2007 production of Last Panto in Little Grimley as there was no part for an eight-month pregnant mother-to-be.
