After fluffing his 3-word part as a teenager in H.M.S. Pinafore, John's resolve to avoid the stage was eventually overcome when he joined DADS in Tomb with a View (2003). By popular demand (theatre speak for "no one else would do it") he was persuaded to repeat his debut striptease performance the following year in the 2004 production of What Do We Do About Henry.
